Looks like red oak so lighter will be an issue. Get the flooring person to show you waht it looks like with different choices . Red oak done in what people call natural is pink by ite nature . I usually do a very dark stain on red oak to eliminate the pink . I see some serious dark bits in thta floor how will those be dealt with ? Ask the floor refinisher all those questions and make sure you get those samples done before committing .
