Doesn't look like the architecture of your house is modern?

I actually like the before better. For me, the new version looks a bit impersonal and like it was staged for selling. Something in between the 2 versions might be a good compromise.

Two very different vibes & both very nice. Which do you favor? I like the cabinet console piece & would happily place it with the some of the decor in the before look. The art - that’s such a personal deal. The new art is a bit too cool for me. I’d have art with color in it in the after. But, those are personal likes & both your before & after are great - just very different vibes. I wonder - did you change anything in the rooms that adjoin this entry? What’s the flavor in them?

I actually love your before picture! its traditional and with a character and so pleasing to the eye. Love the combination of blue lamp with the yellow in the framed art on the wall. But of course if you like the second one, i am sure you will enjoy looking at it.

Before is Better!

I like the console much more than the original one! I think it would look even better if you added just a few simple items to it.

The open console is sharp and fantastic job on the photos going up the stairwell, not an easy task to put up.
